PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 13 September 2026
Punk Dog Wars is a 1v1v1 online game. This policy explains the limited data used to provide matchmaking, rankings, and gameplay.
Data we use
- A randomly generated player identifier stored on your device.
- If you choose Sign in with Google, Google’s opaque account identifier is used to restore your game profile. We do not store the Google ID token or your email address.
- If you choose Discord Login, Discord’s opaque account identifier is used to restore your game profile. We request only Discord’s
identifyscope and do not store access tokens, email addresses, messages, contacts, or server memberships. - Ranking and hero records: rating, wins, losses, games, and per-hero wins, losses and draws, separated by online play and solo play. Your profile retains these totals until account deletion. Anonymous community hero totals are public and retained without player identities.
- Leaderboard: after your first rated match, the public leaderboard shows your nickname, rating, rank and number of rated matches. With the Gameplay option to hide your nickname on, your next rated match removes the nickname from the entry. Deleting your profile removes the entry.
- Automatic game diagnostics: random match/session IDs, game version, combat and item events, match summaries, frame performance, error categories, and disconnects. These records exclude account identifiers, nicknames, room codes, and raw network messages. Pending uploads may remain on your device for up to one day.
- First-party player journeys: a tab-scoped visit ID, entry and play milestones, selected heroes, match IDs, match participants, login status and coarse gameplay context (phase, area, level, health, rounded map coordinates, kills, deaths and frame rate), which game buttons are pressed (identified by the button, never by anything you type), and the screen a visit was on when it closed with how long the page was open. A validated game session links these records to your profile for a private operator dashboard. Names are resolved from your current profile, and are not copied into event history or sent to Vercel Analytics. Detailed journey data expires after 30 days or earlier at storage limits; unsent events remain in tab storage for at most one hour.
- Temporary matchmaking data: anonymous player identifiers, room codes, and queue state. These records expire automatically.
- Standard network information processed by the services that make online play possible, including the game host, Vercel, Upstash, and PeerJS.
How we use data
We use data to identify your game profile, show your rank, match players, operate peer-to-peer matches, diagnose failures, and improve game balance and performance. Vercel Web Analytics measures website traffic without URL query parameters. We do not sell personal data, use advertising SDKs, or request Gmail inbox access, contacts, location, camera, microphone, or payment information.
Storage and sharing
Your ranking is stored in the game backend. Your device keeps a random player identifier in local storage so the game can recognize a guest profile. If you sign in, the selected provider’s opaque account identifier maps to the same game profile. Matchmaking and peer-to-peer connectivity use the service providers named above only to operate the game.
Delete your Punk Dog Wars data
Game diagnostics are available only to authorized operators and expire after seven days, or earlier when storage limits are reached. Aggregate daily health reports without match, session or account identifiers are retained for up to 90 days. Diagnostics are not linked to your account. Clearing app storage removes pending diagnostic uploads. Vercel Analytics records aggregate play milestones and Speed Insights samples page performance; both omit URL query parameters and fragments.
Use the game’s Delete Data control while connected to delete your current guest or signed-in profile. Clearing the game’s app storage removes local identifiers. Deleting an account permanently removes its ranking record and linked provider identifier from the game backend, and unlinks its private journey history from the profile. The remaining pseudonymous journey events expire within 30 days.
To request deletion or get help without reinstalling the game, email zaffalonvictor@gmail.com with the subject “Punk Dog Wars data deletion”. Tell us whether you played as a guest on Android or signed in on the website. Do not send passwords or sign-in tokens. We may need additional information to verify which profile belongs to you; a guest profile is not linked to an email address.
Profile deletion removes the stored ranking, wins, losses, game count, nickname, and any linked sign-in identifier. Diagnostics are not linked to profiles and expire within seven days as described above. Clearing app storage also removes local settings and pending diagnostics.
Children
Punk Dog Wars is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy when the game changes. For privacy questions, use the support contact provided in the game’s store listing.
